Destination One Design is a social networking site for sailing communities where sailors can add their boats, fan other boats, and crews. They can also get up to date news, articles, podcasts, and photo stories about developments in their communities. Users can also sign up to get a weekly e-newsletter.

About the Project
Since the goal of this project was to re-design the old site, the first step as the lead designer was to take an inventory of the improvements that could be made to the old site design.
After realizing that the old design was too cluttered and busy, I started working on a new layout design for the site. Then, I came up with several mock-ups that conceptualized the idea of a clean design that showed off the content. Finally, I implemented the design that was chosen in XHTML and CSS.
